"But that's not fair"!
"The fair doesn't come to town but once a year, and it's expensive".
We know life isn't fair but most of us seem to have a hard time accepting that fact. We want to cling to the idea that all the gifts will be evenly divided. Maybe we just want to be paid back for all the things that have been done to us that we judge as "wrong".
I was asked one time, "Do you want justice or mercy"? That was a real eye opener for me. It helped me see that I wanted justice for everyone else, but mercy for myself. Where's my fairness now? |

| Fun and Play |
I believe that having fun is an answer to almost anything. The problem is that sometimes it's hard to go from the problem to a place where we can have fun. We have to switch from serious to carefree.
That can be accomplished with finding humor in something. Have you ever experienced laughter in the midst of sadness or anger, and you find that you laugh so hard you can't stop. Even when it's not really that funny?
When things feel really important, make fun of them. When you feel judgmental, especially toward yourself, laugh at yourself. When you can only see problems, make up a riddle.
If all else fails, go to http://someecards.com The irreverant look at people and their silliness will have you laughing in no time!
