Dreamboards

Have you ever made a dreamboard? Dreamboards were recently made popular by the movie, "The Secret", but they've been around as long as I can remember.

I used to make them in high school.  I didn't know about manifesting back then but I'd make posters with magazine pictures of things I wished I had. And that's basically what a dreamboard is.

Of course, as adults our dreams and goals are a little more sophistocated than those of a high school girl in the 60's.  But the intention is the same.  To have a visual prompt for helping us believe in our dreams.

It's very simple to make a dreamboard.  Find some cardboard or posterboard the size you want your dramboard to be.  Go through magazines and find images and words that represent your dreams, hopes, goals and desires.  Then glue them on the board.  That's it. It's that simple.

If you'd like to make it more artistic, you can, but that's not the point.  The point is to put the board somewhere prominent in your environment so that you see it all the time and the images get burned into your subsconscious which helps you manifest them.

It sounds so simple that it couldn't really work. But, I know that I have seen many things come about in my life after I've put them either on a dreamboard that I hung up, or even a smaller version in my journal.  I have several friends who have also seen their dreams come alive after taking the time to put them on a board.

If you have some cardboard, glue and a few old magazines around, you have nothing to lose, so why not give it a try?  You have your dreams to gain if it does work!

Gathering our Dreams

This Tuesday night at 8 PM Eastern time, we will gather in the chat room at Creative Clown. Bring your scissors, glue, cardboard and magaziens and let's all create a dreamboard.

It is fun to do this with a group of like-minded folks who will encourage each other and help us all get into a dream making attitude.

To go to the chat room, type http://creativeclown.com/chat in your browser. When you arrive it will ask you to type in your name. Use any name you'd like.  If it asks for a password, you can choose "enter without password".  That's it!

I really hope you'll join me and start on the road to creating the life you want to live!

dreamboard

This is sort of what a dreamboard can look like.  It's the closest thing to it that I had scanned to insert here.
