In the spirit of giving, I’ve scanned some of my own ephemera to share with you.  Click the images below to open up the larger, high resolution image to download.

When I was growing up, once a week at school, we had the opportunity to buy war bonds.
We would take a dime to school and buy and stamp and put it in our little books.
I’m sorry to say that I don’t really know what the purpose in these was.
I just thought it was cool to get stamps and put them in the book.
This particular book was my first husband’s when he was a kid.

This is a book I bought at an estate sale.  I can just imagine young women
in school to learn to be stenos or secretaries, so proud of their
typing book.   Can’t you just see their prettily manicured fingers
type- type- typing away to get faster and faster?

They are high resolution so you can print them out as is and they will be high quality.  Or you can open them in your image editing software and change the sizes or colors.  If you do print them, you can print on fabric, transparencies, white paper, colored paper or whatever you like.

These fonts were made by a man named Klein.  He offers his fonts for free for personal as well as commercial use.  He asks if you use them to make money that you make a donation to a charity.  In the image above I have typed the lower case alphabet of each font.

They are ttf fonts.  They work on windows, but I don’t know if they work on Macs or not.
