Wow!!! My website crashed and it has taken me forever to get my blog working again! I still don’t have all the old posts here, but I’m working with the tech people at Dreamhost to help me get them back.
I had a wonderful holiday. I didn’t get to see my kids or grandkids but it was okay. Mister and his son and son’s girlfriend had Christmas dinner with me at my sister’s. We had a great day. Y’all are going to be so jealous when I tell you what he got me for Christmas! A Zutter Bind-it-All!!! If you don’t know what this is, go here. It’s a machine that spiral binds books. It is so cool!!! It will bind any length. It can do anything up to 3 inches thick, too. There is a learning curve and I haven’t quite mastered it, but I’m playing around with small books so I’m not wasting much material. Mister helped me with one and it turned out perfect!
AND! He also gave me the coolest drill ever! It’s cordless with a lithium battery. And it’s hex drive so the
bits just pop in and out like nothing! It even has a light that shines on whatever you are drilling. I am so excited about my new tools. Am I a
lucky girl, or what?
I’ve been doing a lot of art. I have several new things to list on my etsy shop, but haven’t gotten them uploaded yet. Hopefully I’ll get that done tomorrow.
At the end of the month I’m going to Las Vegas. My son is in the Championship Bull Riding Finals. It’s going to be so exciting! Mister can’t go with me which is very disappointing. But my son’s girlfriend’s parents will be there so I’ll have some other people my age to hang out with.
I’m feeling really good about this new year.
