Take Notice

Something I appreciate a great deal is when people notice something new or different about my appearance, and take time to comment on it.

I notice things about others such as new glasses, whiter teeth, new shoes, etc.  I sometimes don’t make a comment because I’m not sure if it’s appropriate.  But today I’m thinking, how could it not be appropriate to compliment someone?

My mother told me that it is never okay to comment on the way someone smells, therefore you should never comment on anyone’s cologne.  Phooey!!  If I think someone smells nice, I tell them!

Think of a cashier, clerk or server that you often see.  If you notice something new about their appearance, take time to comment.
