NaNoJouMo Update
I mentioned earlier in the month that I am participating in the National Nonstop Journaling Month. The goal was to do something, either write or create art of some kind, in my journal every day. I have gone crazy and been doing so much journaling. It has been a great month! This challenge got me writing regularly in my journal and now I know why I need to do that. And by creating art in my journal it inspires me to paint and do other creative things, too!
So far I have already done 80-something pages!! Many of them are just writing. I did painted backgrounds and just wrote on them. But I will share a few of the pages where I did more than just write.

Oh, Zura, I love, love, love the opportunity to see your journal pages!! Thank you so much for photographing them and getting them posted! I love the ideas and shapes in the pages that you worked? experimented? with!! This helps me in my own work so very much! I long to know what kind of pens you used on what kind of paint, to make things show up, and do you seal your work in any way? Did you start with an old book, or a sketchbook? Questions, questions, questions!! I think I would’ve liked that class.

Sooz, I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my pages. I have lots more journal pages somewhere. lol I’ll find where, maybe flickr??, and let you know. And I’ll just do a whole post with the questions you asked. How ’bout that?

Wow! I’m doing both NaBloWriMo & NaBloPoMo since they’re the same thing. I used to keep a journal, but now I blog to satisfy my cravings for this sort of thing!
So what are we planning to do on Dec 1?

Guy, that’s a good question. What next? I can’t be as open and real on my blog as I can in my journal. Maybe we should have a “real” challenge. Share something really authentic about ourselves in our blog each day of December?? You got any ideas? BTW, thanks for taking the time to comment.

I can understand that. Perhaps you might experiment with a new, completely anonymous blog for a short time?
I’ve kept my blog a secret from everyone I know, except for one Internet acquaintance. I couldn’t write in it, otherwise. I suppose in the unlikely event that my blog becomes totally famous and popular, my wife might read it and figure out that it’s mine….

Your square peg blog is secret? It has your picture on it
But I want to thank you for this idea. I did set up an anonymous blog and it’s very interesting writing where no one knows me or has any expectations. I think this is going to turn out to be an experiment that teaches me a lot about myself.

I know that my picture is on my blog. But what are the chances that anyone’s going to find it? It’s buried in obscurity!
Good luck with your experiment!
