about me
Ha! You thought you were going to come here and see some rainbow colored fuzzy hair and a red nose, didn’t you?
My name is Zura Ledbetter. I’m a mother, grandmother, mixed media artist, writer, journaler and dreamer.
I was educated as an occupational therapist. In my fifties, I finally decided to acknowledge the deepest part of myself that was longing to get out. That part of me was a bohemian who desired most of all to have fun and be creative. Since I made that leap, I’ve been much happier than I ever was before, trying to play like I was the science type.
My greatest dream now is to share with others all the wonderful gifts I’ve been given. Specifically the freedom to be real, to live in the moment, to believe in myself and my dreams. And to have fun all along the way.
This journey for me has taken place on canvas and on the pages of my journal. It has also taken shape in my ability to learn about and create with my computer.
What is your dream? I would love for you to write and tell me about it. Please write me at zura [at] creativeclown [dot] com
